Resolving dependencies before compile:
shell> sudo apt-get install imlib11-dev flex bison libxmu-dev libungif4-dev

Download lastest from: http://member.wide.ad.jp/wg/mgp/

To compile:

./configure
xmkmf -a
make
make install

To test:

shell> mgp /usr/share/doc/mgp/examples/gradation.mgp
